Genius returns with their second annual IQ/BBQ to celebrate musical knowledge across the board next month for a full day of entertainment out in Brooklyn, N.Y. The encyclopedia of music, formerly known as Rap Genius, has enlisted trap savant 2 Chainz to headline their concert slated for Saturday, Sept. 8 at the Brooklyn Genius headquarters.
In addition to being blessed with a performance by the 40-year-old ATLien, Princess Nokia, Tierra Whack, A.CHAL, Jack Harlow, Harlem’s Melii, and Wisconsin’s Ted Park are all also on the bill. There will be DJs playing throughout the day, with sets expected from Odalys, Riobamba, Stonie Blue, and DJ Saige to keep the party vibes flowing.
Tickets for the anticipated mini-festival are free while still available. The event is open to fans 18 years old and up, as well as to anyone participating within the global Genius community. Attendees should be prepared for a day of music trivia and refreshments provided courtesy of Barbecue Fare and People’s Pops.
“We’re honored to have 2 Chainz — a singular lyricist, trendsetter, and leader in the music industry — as our 2018 Genius IQ/BBQ headliner,” says Genius chief content officer Brendan Frederick. “We can’t wait to see what he and the other incredible artists on the lineup have up their sleeves.”
Purchase tickets to the second annual Genius IQ/BBQ free of charge starting on Friday (Aug. 24) at noon ET over at Genius.
